Welcome to the Aquaculture Centre, where we provide training in fish farming, breeding techniques, and value addition. Our goal is to promote sustainable aquaculture practices and support the development of the aquaculture industry in Africa.

The Aquaculture Centre undertakes training in value addition and breeding techniques for farmers and provides a ready market through networking. UYAS utilizes a more innovative approach to fingerling production and other highly technical solutions to problems pertaining to fish farming, fish feed and pig production. Acknowledging the challenges farmers face, marketing is a factor in which UYAS ensures that every beneficiary gets access to a reliable market to sustain the business.  This serves as a roadmap towards helping to achieve SDGs and Agenda 2063. Market access is the surest way to encourage youth in agri-business. In our quest to help contribute to the achievement of the agenda 2063, we seek to train more youth, provide them with breeding stock and build their capacity to manage their own business through innovative business management training modules developed by UYAS. Through the Agriculture Technology Aggregation Centre, UYAS is building agripreneurial skills in the youth to reduce unemployment, reduce poverty and promote food and nutritional security including inculcating the spirit of environmental conservation. Innovative technology using ICT has been the benchmark of this transformation agenda. We have worked and provided services to uncountable youth and corporate entities as well as government institutions across the entire country.
